Written change to a home improvement contract, for use with California Business and Professions Code ยง7159.

Payment for this changeWhen it is due and how it is paid (with the next progress payment, on completion, etc.).
Statutory noticeThis change order sets out the scope of the extra or changed work, the amount added to or subtracted from the contract price, and its effect on the progress payments or the completion date, as California Business and Professions Code section 7159.6 requires. Under section 7159 it becomes part of the home improvement contract only if it is in writing and signed by the parties before any work covered by it begins, and under section 7159.6 it is not enforceable against the buyer unless it states all three items above.
